Project information

This was a hackathon some friends and I participated in. It was organised by NASA, ESA and JAXA. The purpose of the hackathon was to find and come up with a way to use the data provided by the satellites of the respective organisations. We need to come up with a way of extending the existing dashboard and what effects covid has had on a given set of categories.

The category we chose was water and to see what effects the pandemic has had on the oceans of the world. We primarily focused on algae in the water and made a prototype and a video. With our solution, we got two awards one of which set our team as one of the global finalists.
